Phil and Ashley just moved into a new home and wanted their place to be a blend of both their styles. We worked to create a space that reflected his modern taste and her flare for bolder colours. Sometimes it's just easier to have a third party come in to make two unique styles work!
THE LIVING
ROOM
BEFORE
Phil & Ashley wanted their living room to feel cozy yet modern. They brought in furniture from their previous home but it wasn't creating the warm atmosphere they were hoping for. Not sure what to do, they reached out to our team to create an inviting design that incorporated both new and old furniture pieces.
THE DESIGN SOLUTION
We rearranged the couches they already had to maximize functional sitting space. To bring in color, we sourced bright pillows and accent chairs.
Modern artwork, accessories and rugs were brought into the room to balance out the old stone fireplace.

THE BASEMENT
BEFORE
The basement had an alcove area that they weren't sure how to furnish. Pushing the main seating into the alcove would spread the seating too far for a comfortable conversation.
They also weren't sure how to incorporate their old furniture in this room.
The pool table area was quite barren lacking seating and style.
THE DESIGN SOLUTION
The alcove had lots of natural daylight, making it perfect plant growth. We added a plant stand in order to bring a bit of nature indoors.
Their two largest couches were moved to the basement and set up adjacently so that they could both comfortably lay down to watch evening television.
Near the pool table, a pub table was incorporated so that there was a place to set drinks down or sit while enjoying the game. A gallery wall was added in this area in order to showcase their unique style and tie the two areas together.
